Biography

Graham Bennett has worked in Advertising, Dance and Theatre. As a commercials producer for the leading Advertising Agency Young and Rubicam, he worked with major brands including Daz, Remington and Mr Sheen. A career in Dance and Theatre followed, initially as a performer, including a season at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, before he went into Arts Management.

Graham was the first Director of the Old Bull Arts Centre in Barnet, North London, before being offered the chance to open a new theatre in nearby Enfield. This was the Millfield Theatre, which Graham launched and managed for 13 years. He completed his management career at The Camberley Theatre in Surrey.

Photography

Graham has been taking pictures since the swinging ‘60’s and in 2007 had his first exhibition, Place:Replace, at Millfield Arts Centre in North London. His second exhibition, Leave only Footprints, also at Millfield, took place in May 2009. In July and September 2009 this was exhibited at Chorak in both Muswell Hill and East Finchley. He now concentrates on travel photography, photomontage, headshots and portfolio work for actors and models and theatre promotional shoots using his extensive experience in theatre.

Digital photography has been a liberating influence and now Graham works exclusively in digital, for travel photographs often post processing using Photoshop to heighten a mood or feeling or focus on an aspect of the image.
